It Takes Two to Talk^® – The Hanen Program^® for Parents of Children with Language Delays

The It Takes Two to Talk Program was specifically designed for parents of children with language delays. As part of this programme, you’ll learn how to build your child’s skills naturally during everyday routines. This programme is most suitable for children from birth to five years with a diagnosed language delay.

The programme includes:

- - a pre-programme consultation with our Hanen certified speech and language therapist (virtual)
  - 8 interactive group sessions where you will learn about communication, language development and how to use the Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk” Strategies with your child.
  - 3 individual sessions for you and your child which will include coaching, discussion and programme ideas.
  - All materials including handouts and worksheets are provided. Each family will receive a copy of the It Takes Two To Talk Guidebook.

Created specifically for parents of children on the autism spectrum or with other social communication difficulties, the More Than Words® Program provides practical strategies for addressing your child’s individual needs and building his communication, play and social skills during everyday routines and play.

This programme is most suitable for young children with a diagnosis of Autism or with concerns regarding social communication difficulties. Families of children who are pre-verbal to emerging communicators benefit from the strategies offered on this programme.

The More Than Words programme includes;

a pre-programme consultation with our Hanen certified speech and language therapist (virtual)
8 interactive group sessions where you will learn about communication, language development and how to use the Hanen “More Than Words” strategies with your child.
3 individual sessions for you and your child which will include coaching, discussion and programme ideas.
All materials including handouts and worksheets are provided. Each family will receive a copy of the “More Than Words” Guidebook.

The TalkAbility Program is designed for parents of children on the autism spectrum aged 4-8. The program shows you how to help your child have more extended conversations with adults and peers, how to tune in to messages people send without words, how to understand others’ perspectives, and how to expand their play and friendship skills.

The programme includes;

a pre-programme consultation with our Hanen certified speech and language therapist (virtual)
8 interactive group sessions where you will learn about communication, language development and how to use the Hanen “TalkAbility” strategies with your child.
2 individual sessions for you and your child which will include coaching, discussion and programme ideas.
All materials including handouts and worksheets are provided. Each family will receive a copy of the “Talkability” Guidebook.
